Why are so many women bisexual?

I have a theory.

Every day we push women as sex objects. In the newspapers, magazines, television and movies we are subjected to almost naked women that are supposed to personify "sexuality". This happens on a daily basis. If you walk out of your house you see women on billboards in bikinis or lingerie. Let's face it. It's cool, fashionable and socially acceptable for women to dress in revealing clothing.

I believe that in a predominantly male society we have created an environment for women to love other women. We have put this image of "sexy" in the minds of all of these women so of course they are going to experiment with these feelings of sexuality! Many people do not realize that the word "sexy" usually means something that is sexually arousing!

In all actuality most animals on this planet strive for dominance, which often comes out in the form of sex. It is much more "natural" for a male to have sex with another male simply to fulfill his urge of sexual dominance. Yet homosexuals and bisexual males are often thought of as perverts or deviants while lesbians and bisexual females are thought of as cool.

I don't know if it is bad or good but I believe that as a society we have all created the modern day bisexual female. If there is any woman on this board (younger than 30yo) that has truthfully never kissed another female I would really like to know. To date I have never met one.

Truthfully...I have never kissed a female in any sexual way...yes....I am one of the few whom have not!

I was actually referring to females that are younger than 30yo, however, and I believe that you are around 30 or a little older. I should add that to the post. The reason I say younger than 30 is I believe this is a fairly recent development.

I do not think the numbers are different between bisexuals in men or women. Society is more accepting when women do it so women are more comfortable admitting it. If a guy says he is open to the idea he gets called a fag. If a woman says the same she's sexually liberated. Just as many guys think about an experience with a guy. They just won't admit it. I could name names of members here but I won't. :D

I think society is rapidly becoming more accepting towards male bi-/homosexuality. Look at just about any advertisement from a major fashion label and you'll see why I feel this way. I actually grew up around gay people as my aunt was a lesbian. She was always throwing this big gay parties that were WAY too much fun. Still, I honestly could never bring myself to kiss another dude but it seems some women will do it as soon as they get drunk...

If someone is truly bisexual then fine, more power to em but I hate girls that kiss other girls just cause it's considered "cool" or the "it thing" to do at the moment. ****ing hate that fake shit.

allright.. my gf and her best two friends are not bi and have never kissed a girl... Hell, she once said if she'd find out that one of her friends was bi, or lesbian, she would consider to end the friendship.. :scratch:

You do see bisexual girls in the club ocasionaly, but i believe stayinstacked was right as he said "It just looks immature and nothing more than a desperate cry for attention"

i have never kissed a guy in a sexual way, HOWEVER, I was at a party and these 2 hot girls wanted to give me and my friend blowjobs. They said they would only do it if we kissed so we shared a peck and got our nobs polished.

A gay alien or a straight alien?

Every girl i have been with in the last 9 years has been bi. some if them were in serious relationships with other girls.

maybe it's because with the increase of homosexual males, there are fewer to choose from.. and those that are worth anything are taken... and that just leaves the losers..

thus they at least want to be with someone that has soft lips...

SExuality is a trend homo or hedro, persuaded by societys morality and or how that morality is being choosen by religion and or faith in whom ever god, popularity, custom, and or by political gain which point back to populartiy.... History dont lie look it up....

You may be in for a surprise in the far future....this is still an age of non-acceptance and I consider it a false reliance of religion to control morality in multiple forms, sexuality being one of them....

Being bisexual is just "unmanly". If you're gay, good for you. If you're straight, here's a cookie, congrats. But if you're both, it sounds as if you are a bit confused.

Women making out and being bisexual is paraded as the best thing since sliced bread to the opposite sex. However I can't say I know many girls that enjoy watching men make out....just a double standard I suppose.

Yes, good looking. Early 20s. We had dinner at a restaurant that turns into a club/lounge after the kitchen closes. It was an all straight crowd. We were having a good time and stayed.
