    Punisher vs Punisher

Which punisher movie did you enjoy most.

The one from 1989 starring Dolph Lundgren
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098141/

The one from 2004 starring Thomas Jane
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0330793/

To me its not even close. The 1989 Punisher is the ultimate in B-movie entertainment. The new one is just watchable but nothing special.

    Predator
    Conan
    Rambo
    Cobra
    Punisher
    Escape from new york
    Mad max
    Big troubble in little china
    Raw Deal
    Running man
    Lethal Weapon
    Dirty Harry(70's)
    Terminator
    Total recall
    Red heat
    Universal Soliders
    Rocky
    Action Jackson
    Bloodsport
    Kickboxer

The list just goes on and on. Hail to Arnold, Stallone, Dolph, Kurt Russel, Clint Eastwood, Carl Weathers, Mel Gibson

Now adays everything has to be funny and shit. Even during serious parts. Like in that aliens vs predator movie. The damn woman acted all tough then started killing aleins....Everyone one knows that bitch would be crying shit in herself then get eaten by one of those basturds.

Universal Soldier! Dolph and Vandam....I love tha movie. See look at Universal Soldier the Return....Everything was a damn comedy...thats just like what I was talking about. Goldberg made that sequel. But it still sucked lol

Not to mention a predator would never ally with a human.

and if it isnt a comedy it has to have a deep and complicated heartbreaking story. Give me a break god damn it. I just want to se some big ass freakshow blasting badguys with the biggest gun around. That all it takes to satisify me. If I want to think I read a good book

I liked the Blade movies though, they where old fashion entertainment violence. I have to say I was happily suprised by walking tall aswell.

    Blade was entertaining.

Are you talking about walking tall with the ROCK in it!?!?!?!?

LOL I can't stand him in movies....He's so over dramatic with every part he plays. Rocky.....he's just trying to hard lol!

Like a simple thing like ..."I will get your cat out of that tree little girl" He says it like this " I WILL! GET! THHHEEE CAT! to ****ing dramatic , you know your watching a movie with shitty acting.

I am THE biggest Punisher fan and while Dolph is built more like the Punisher is in the comics, the Thomas Jane movie is closer to the comics. Neither film is particularly great but the Thomas Jane one is better.

I love the new one, but haven't been able to watch the old one yet.

The old one is supposed to protray the punisher as a more hardened killer, as opposed to the soft likable guy who rescuses his neighbors.

I'm very interested in seeing the old one, hopefully I can rent it this week. My video store is ordering it in.

Though the new one was nice, I prefer the old one with Dolph... he's just a bit more hardcore and believable (well as believable as a comic book "hero" can be!)
