Why did this thread get locked????????????

you will see that the last post by me was deleted.

I simply asked the question, "Are you 6'3 like your profile says or 6'0 like this thread says?"

I find it disturbing that a mod would show 2 different stories like that. Instead of a simple answer, my post is DELETED and the thread is locked!

I find this alarming.

A little background....Bigmax and I WERE in a little pissing contest on a thread, but made peace via pm. I wasn't trying to call him out, but I get suspicious of anyone who has 2 different stories, and I think you should be too........unless there is a REALLy good reason why.

I would like some answers.......if it were anyone else, I wouldn't care, but I expect different from a MOD. And I REALLY think it is suspicious when anyone deletes posts.

I could be making this out to be more than it is, but you never know.....

First, BigMax is not a Mod. He is a highlighted scout to report problems on the board. I think... hell I don't even know who the Mods are on here anymore. It was those of us in Blue... then it was those in red and blue - now I guess it is half of us in blue and the others are labeled "admin". Pfft...

Second, perhaps he didn't want his old newbie thread bumped? Why does it matter anyway? Anyhoo - as a monitor, he can't delete threads -someone else would have done it for him...

PM the guy who deleted it and ask him instead of creating a whole other thread (that eventually will get deleted once the question is resolved)

Considering the thread is 5 months old, it sounds like you were just trying to call him out by going through his old posts. If you have a problem with Bigmax, take it to PM's. But the fact is, Bigmax couldn't have deleted your post, nor would he have. I happen to know Bigmax on a personal level. He is exactly who he says he is, and a good guy at that. That pic in his avatar, is indeed him. Although he's leaner and bigger now.

So I fail to see what your purpose is for bringing this up. Are you questioning Bigmax's honesty? Are you saying he's not who he says he is? Or are you just trying to make him look bad since he proved you wrong in a thread some time ago?

I was searching for a pic of BigMax and only found six or so threads that he had started. I wanted to see 265 at 7% bodyfat, or whatever the exact measurements are. I didn't know if his avatar was him or not.

And I guess I don't know who it was who deleted the thread, so I can't pm anyone.

LOL...Ok what did I miss????..Got alot of pm's over this..LOL...But Posh let me say this to you on the open forum...You and I like men settled our dispute...so thats over with ...what do you want to know????Right now I'm 6'3" [email protected] I first joined here I was 288 to 292..10%..I started to work with Pinnacle and he put me on his regimen (i paid him of course)and i dropped BF like crazy along with some weight of course..got down to 263(maybe less dont remember)6.9BF...oh and by the way did it NATURALLY!!!!!...well now i'm back to put on pure muscle and I'm doing a good job...gained some size(more)have put on some fat (pinn said I would)But i'm strong as a mother f******!!!!... dont compete but Nark and buff both know I get PAID fior training... a nice big check too!!!!!What else would you like to know Posh?????

Bigmax grew 3 inches height in 5 months.

In his profile it says 6'3 for height and 5 months ago he made a post that he's 6'0. Its probably just a typo.

What happened to the 3 inches and what happened to my post. I understand locking a thread, but you don't delete the last post THEN lock the thread. Evidently you don't have the power to do this, but do you know who did?

When someone bumps an old welcome thread i always delete the post.. and lock the thread to prevent it being re-bumped.

Why?

I'd assume the logic was clear.. But seeing it isn't: I lock the old thread so it isn't at the top of the forum showing up on the 'new posts' search where it would be taking the place of an actual new thread.

Go to page 5 and work your way back to the oldest threads in the forum

You'll see they're locked.. i did that after Bojangles joined the board and bumped 30 of 'em.
