    Question about Western Union

    In advance, excuse my naivety.

This is a hypothetical question, of course. I had a question about western Union. In sending funds, I was told to include the following information: (1) a name (2) city and (1) state but it seems that the PO box or adress was ommitted. Is this reason for concern?

Depending on the amount you're sending they will not request ID. You can use whatever name you want. I think over $1,000 requires ID. Call the 800 number and check.

Yup...anything over 1,000 you need ID.

Right. Sending less than $1000 does not require providing a destination address--just a city and state or "city" and country.

WU forms ask the first and last name as well as city and state of the reciever.
You the sender have to fill out name, phone, street, city, state, zip..
include test question if your source informs you to.

when replying to your source give name, city, state of sender (you).
as well as MTCN and correct shiping address.

The address destination of the person I am sending it to doesn't give a street name or PO box. Isn't that problematic? Was it an ommision?

I didn't make my question clear. What I'm saying is that the person I am sending funds to did not provide a street name or number or a PO box. Doesn't that seem like an ommision? Wouldn't that info be needed?
