    Weird.Physics - The Meissner Effect -

    http://www.filecabi.net/video/phsick21.html

This effect will levitate a magnet as long as the magnetic field does not exceed the critical magnetic field. A magnet that is suspended by the superconductor has two interesting properties; it does not move, and it can spin without friction. The ability for the magnet to stay perfectly still is due to flux pinning.

yeh too bad you need like a cup of liquid nitrogen to get a penny to float for just a few minutes. so to get a copper train to float you would literally need a river of liquid nitrogen. but im sure scientist will learn how to pin flux someday at room temp. we will have no use for combustion/electric engines anymore. just friction free copper honda civics floating to work on ceramic highways... soooo fvcking cool. too bad ill be dead by then..

UNLESS... UNLESS we can get some flux capacitors and invent a time machine. than we can travel to the future get immortalized and fly back to the present and wait for cool shit to come out.

we can sneak back some future hotties too.
