I'd say 35 like in the movie "Failure to Launch".
More and more children are coming back home to live with their parents after finding out it's hard to make it out there nowadays.

Well it depends! I left home for the big wide world at 16 1/2. My daughter was about 19 when she left. I would say for boys about 16 -18 is about long enough. Girls may be slightly older say 18 - 20

Human parasites...thats what you are by living with your parens. Losers and moochers and parasites..too weak to stand on your own. And some of you are proud of that....thats sick shit. Have a little self respect, dignity, and manhood and get the hell out. Your parents are sick and tired of your ass being around, still sucking the lifeforce out of them. Pussyboys is what you all are...pussyboys.

well... as to what teabagger says...might wanna look into other cultures before you start calling people pussies for staying with there family. A lot of cultures have their sons / daughters live at home until they are married. You really shoudln't judge them just because they don't share the same anti-family beliefs that your culture has taught you
P.S. I personally moved out when i was 19.

I'd say 30 is too old. For somepeople it may take awhile to get your life in order.
I moved out at 21, but wasn't really ready yet. Kinda screwed up. I had to go into debt to buy things like food, bills, and stuff for the appartment. I wasn't making enough money basically. If I stayed home, I would still be in school, and mostlikely have a better job right now.
I wish I would have finished school first. Now money is kinda tight, and I don't really have much left for school.

I stayed to i was 25 and i felt like a loser for it. An apartment isn't that hard to afford. And you can always get a roommate. It might not be ideally want you want but we do need to grow up.
Also I stayed home because my parents have a pimp house on the water and they were only there 6 months out of the year. My girl at the time lived there with me.

Its healthy to get a strong start on life by leaving at 18, whether it be college, moving in with a companion or just going it alone. Prolly makes society a bit better by having people who are marginally that much more responsible.

I don't know i think it's better to save - if i had had an option to live at home longer - would've.
The fact my boyfriend lives at home is awesome - his parents r wicked and it's nice to see strong family values - also gives people the chance to save $$

Like Frankie said why the hell would you want to move out when you can. 1) Save hella loot and 2) Spend quality time with mom and pops before they grow old and die. oh and not have to spend a dime on rent.
The only flaw I have at living at home is bringing girls home late at night. I have to sneak them in or else I have to get a hotel.
KNock it down all you want, but I say this deal ain't too shabby.Last edited by Smak; 09-23-2006 at 05:32 PM.

Yes its a great deal for you. But what about your parents? They still have to support you partially. And don't you think they want the house to themselves yet?
