a hard drive looks like a small box. You can buy an 80gig one here in UK for about £30. They will be even cheaper in US.

Honestly, save yourself the headache, and just take the computer to a professional to do it. They'll probably charge you $20.00 to put the hard drive in. Keep in mind you can't just replace the hard drive. You need to first copy or "ghost" the data on your 18 GB drive to the new larger one.
Go see a pro.

Installing a hard drive is easy, but with a new hard drive you would need to most likey reinstall everything on your computer. Windows, and any programs you have on it. A computer tech or shop would be able to transfer all the files from your old hard drive over to the new one, but it's not nearly as easy as installing RAM.
Honestly, it costs around $20.00 to have a hard-drive installed, some places will do it for free if you buy the hard drive from them. I'd have it installed by a tech if you were not completely sure that you would be able to transfer all your files over easily.
