Worse thing you have ever seen?

What's the worse thing you have ever seen?

    Mine:

    1. I saw a 2 year old just learning how to walk get hit by a car. He was killed instantly. Long story short, the car was speeding in my su**ivision. Probably doing about 50 mph. It was a Mustang with two punk kids in it. The little kid's mom was at a garage sale and she was looking at things. The little kid wandered off into the middle of the street and the morons in the Mustang came around the corner stomped on the gas thinking they were cool and......... well, you know.

    2. During a CCS Forumla Extreme race at Grattan Raceway (motorcycle on SCCA track) I watched the guy infront of me hit a concrete wall at 160 + MPH. He was flying down the track on the straight-a-way getting ready to turn into turn 1 and when he went to grab the brakes, there were none. He literally went into the wall "at speed." His body hit the wall first and the bike then slid into him. Come to find out later, his best friend helped him change the tires on his bike prior to the race to have a fresh set of slicks for the race. Well, his buddy didn't know that he had to pump the brakes back up after putting new wheels on or...... The start/finish line was at the beginning of the straight away, so the guy (on a GSXR1000 with motor work) literally got to the top of 5th gear and then realized he had no brakes.

Well, nothing much to tell. Cops showed up, ambulances, etc. Driver went to jail. News vans showed up later that night. I got a supeona a few months later to testify in court. Kids took a plea bargain and I never went to court. That's about it.

I am not telling you this because I want sympathy but because I never want my daughter to be forgotten. The worst thing I have even seen and the worst day of my life was the day my daughter Jazmin died in my arms from a brain tumor at just three and a half years old. That was eight and a half years ago and I still think about her every day and I always will.

I just couldn't imagine being in that situation.

In my younger days I worked for an ambulance service so I got to see all kinds of messed up crap. The worst thing I ever saw though was when three teenage boys slammed a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 into a tree over an embankment. The car literally broke into two pieces. I didn't think that was possible. The roof of the car instantly caved in a crushed one of the boy's head. The only way I can really describe it is that is squeezed it like a grape. There were pieces of brain everywhere...all over the car, on the hood of the car, hanging on the tree, on the ground. Another one of the boys had a piece of the car's frame lodged into his skull. The third boy, miraculously, was still alive and was partially ejected from the vehicle. I say partially because his foot was trapped in the twisted metal. It took us about an hour to get him out of that mess. That was, by far, the most morbid thing I've ever seen.

YEah, 911 was pretty messed up to watch. Each time one of the planes hit or one of the buildings crumbled or people jumping out of windows..that was pretty insance. I can't think of one single event in the last 20 years that grabbed the whole worlds attention like that.

i dont think peoplerealize every time you see a plnae hit in the videos, or when the builidngs fell how many people are dying that very second...it bothers me still so much. i was in a bar near the village and i saw names of patrons in bronze plaques on the wall that died that day, or in the park there are benches that have names on them of others who have died, it realy hits home and makes me so angry and sad, i wish it was all fiction, but it isnt, it was so real

OUr parents generation will always refer to "what/where was you when Kennedy was shot?"..the same will be for us and 9/11 now. I remember I was shopping in town. Then I caught a news segment on a TV in a shop. Que a thousand text messages suddenly being sent to me and everyone just being glued to a TV or radio. I've been to Ground Zero in NY and it's very eerie...the sad mood in the air was almost palpable. I also remember watching a segment where they read out a list of all the people that died and a guy with my EXACT first and surname came on TV..that was pretty freaky to see. Yeah, that day truly did change the world forever. I think it made the world more aware of islamic fundamentalists. I know I never even heard of Al Quada before that day.
