Asprin Question
I just finished an article explaining how NSAIDs inhibit muscle hypertrophy. NSAIDs are Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflamatory Drugs like motrin, naprosyn and relafen to name a few. Does anyone know how much they effect protein synthesis or how much is to much(asprin)? I know that asprin is bad for your liver but WTF. Any views or comments are always appreciated.

If you are taking NSAIDs frequently and on a consistent basis then yes perhaps you may have less muscle hypertrophy but then that may be the least of your problems. Also it depends why are you taking NSAIDs in the first place, if its for muscle, joint, ligament pain then well by not taking you would be worse off. If you are taking it once in a while I see no reason to worry, really

You are absolutly correct when you stated "moderation is fine". I to use painkillers and any pharmaceutical drugs for that matter very seldomly.
