    legal question

My ex and now best friend used to work at a really nice strip bar. She was on their "dream Team" So her pics were on alot of their promotional stuff. Well she hasn't worked there in 3 years and they are still using her pic.
she was just on a bill board on the side of the high way. She is still on their web site. She called and asked them not to use her pics anymore. and they told her they own them they can use what ever they want. Is there anything she can do?

If she signed a contract when she worked there that states her image can be used in promotional material there isn't much she can do. She could take them to court anyway but not sure how it would go.

She did have to sign a contract. And she got paid for the photo shoot. But they were taken 6 years ago and she hasnt worked there for 3. I didn't know if there would be a reasonable amount of time they would be used for.

She hasn't gotten into any litigation yet. She just called and spoke to the gm of the bar and asked them. The owner is going to be her next phone call but getting ahold of her isn't easy. I would think its cheaper and easier for them to not use them then to fight her legally. Even if they would win. Plus i don't think the bar would want negative publicity.
