Customs: Why would they send me an empty box?

OK, here's the deal. When I started taking HGH, I started taking diuretics to help with the water weight and BP.

I also have an 11 year old dog who was started on thyroid (true!)

Anyway, I order my old school diuretics and thyroid from overseas as neither is a controlled substance and both are much less expensive that way. Never had a problem until this year, when an order was held by customs and I received the "you can't order from out of the country form letter".

Contacted the pharmacy, no problem, re-ship. Well, never came. Now today, my postman brings the delivery. Someone signs for it. Cool. No controlled delivery. No strange mailman. Nothing.

Turns out the box has been opened and emptied. Resealed with inspected by customs tape, and delivered.

Now these are not controlled substances, hell they're not even prescription in most countries. But should I be worried?

Please, before you start saying "no worries", or "clean your house", take a deep breath and think. I have a disabled wife (HGH), and 2 teenagers. We're upstanding citizens for the most part. I don't have any anabolics in the house, just HGH for my wife and I (both pushing 50), diuretics, and thyroid for my dog. pretty much a prescription for everything else.

I'm mainly concerned about the HGH, though it's not a controlled substance in this state, I know it's still a no no.

But why would they send me an empty box? No controlled delivery. No banned or scheduled substance. Just an empty box. 3 months after I ordered it.

So, please, don't freak me out unnecessarilly. But if I need to clean out my HGH, and anything else, because a search warrant is next, I'd like to know. If I'm just like the 1000's who order overseas meds and get empty boxes because of Bush's "Freinds of Big Pharma" policy, then I'd like that clarified too.

i dont know but one time by buddy had his box opened and it had "anabolics" written on the box with customs tape all over it. Yet they still sent it to him with all the vials.

It's probably not safe to have HGH in the house, why don't you send it to me and let me hold on to it until everything blows over with you.

You're too kind! I actually did almost take the HGH to a buddies house, but after reading some of the members posts on other threads, I kind of ascertained that if I were a "target", they probably would have done a controlled delivery.

Also, I get the impression it would have been more of a problem if it were Anabolics or even HGH which were siezed, But I've been going domestic on HGH for some time for just hat reason. Costs more, but worth it.

Anyway, what's with the empty box? is it just a 60 day late "F*** You" from customs? So now the online pharmacy has "proof of delivery" and can charge my credit card the $200? But I still get no meds?

I mean, that's OK, but you would think our Customs and Security have better things to do.

Anyway, thank you kindly for your responses. Any further insight into potential red flags would be appreciated.
