Saw it and hated every minute of it. All my friends loved it and thought it was so great and spoke about politics today. Blah blah, the reason I go to a movie is to be entertained and plain and simple that movie is not entertaining AT ALL.

i liked the premise, i like the idea for the plot. but the movie itself was brutal. V's monologue's were torture. Now if i was making a movie, id take Vin Diesel and make him reprise his role as XXX and stick him in there instead of V. that would make for better weapons (V uses ninja turtle weapons) and some cheezy one liners i need from action movies.

Political commentary social criticism action flick? Gimme a break! It had some moments, but not enough to make it into my DVD library. I'd watch Batman Begins 100 times (and love every minute of it) before I'd watch V again.

If you all liked V for Vendetta, or even if you didn't, you should see Equilibrium with Christian Bale (Batman).

Much better movie with a similar concept.

I loved both V and EQuilibrium... They were both awesome

The dialogue in V was madness (in a great way)! I loved every minute of it.

I think this is what makes or breaks a movie for me. If they advertise it in one way thats contrary to the actual movie. it was like an action flick in my eyes going into it, coming out I realized it would be better compared to a documentary on growing barley. BORING!

Its like the director said...F*CK guys this movie is boring as shit, we cant make a preview with the guy talking in words that only start with V lets put in the only 3 action scenes in the movie to trick people into seeing a movie where 90% of the time a guy in a gay mask talks like hes Shakespeare.

i'mma have to disagree there. i think christian bale is an awesome actor, second only to ewan mcgregor, but that movie more slick than a wery good negative utopia. v for vendetta was pretty sweet. pretty much every part of it that was cheesy or over the top was because of the wachowskis. they're hacks but at least they know greatness enough to aquire the rights i guess.

it takes a level of appretiation for the arts and literature to enjoy this movie. i absolutly loved it!!! if you are a xxx or fast and the furious type of guy...it's not suprising that you didn't enjoy it.

Where does V for Vendetta have any type of art or literature? Granted the dialogue was very good and the story of Guy Falks is very good, but to use this movie as an example of art and literature in movies is an insult to say, The Godfather or Citizen Kane.

Using big words in long strings of sentences does not make for classic writing...

Good point, the movie sucked. He locks his girl up and drives her crazy, wtf? Fuk the point behind it, it was dumb as shlt! Ps I loved the little attempt at brain washing shlt in the movie, the two "women" part Yeah, and that had to do with what? (goodcents closing ears now )maybe another hollywood attempt to "educate" us?
