    Looks like the best....movie...EVER

    I went and saw the Departed, and there is a trailer for a movie by Frank Miller (Sin City) called "300"

    Phreak, two things is The Departed any good cause i've been itching to see that for ages! No doubt Scorcese will get screwed at the Bafta awards again as usual..

    And yeah, 300 DOES look awesome. Looks different from your usual "epic" film featuring perfectly good looking hollywood stars fighting against whole empires and winning.

    Yeah Departed was excellent, ending was a bit off but still good.

    Looks like a good film, can't see how the battle can last that long though, supposedly in the real battle, 300 spartans fought 100k+ persians.

    It was 600,000 Persians versus about 7000 Greeks, of that there were 300 Spartans. When the Persians offered to spare the lives of the Spartan King Leonidas and his men if they layed down their arms, the reply was "Molon Labe" (come and get them)

    I hope the movie is done well, it is a great story.

    The Departed was superb.

    Im surprised Scorcese hasn't used Nicholson before...he plays the part of an insane psycopathic gang boss just as good as anyone like DeNiro or Pesci.
