Another Dumb GNC Rep

So I got some BCAA powder online but I am not too happy with the way that it mixes. So I called GNC to ask them if they carried it and they said yes. I asked them "In what ratio?" I knew he would have no idea what I was talking about and sure enough, I was right. He said, "In whatever ratio you want. We have all different sizes with all different prices." I started laughing and hung up. Dumbass. Gotta love it.

i only buy my supps from vitamin shop, they are really cheap.the main web site has great prices and selection, but the vitamin shop is just so close...

hahaha.....I still wont forget the time I asked for Glutamine Peptides....they guy just looked at me with this shocked face like I just made up a new word/supplement....haha it was great....not to metion its way overpriced.

The ideal ratio is 2:1:1, l-leucine:l-isoleucine:l-valine...Anyone who sells it should know that, and anyone who takes it should probably know that, too.

i get all my leucine, valine and isolucine from 2.5-3 pounds of chicken a day. and more with whey

I dont get all technical with the supps. i shall remember that if i ever do a bcaa

What was your reason for asking if GNC had an alternative and what were you intending to do?

I was going to try another brand of BCAA powder to see if it mixed any better. If it did, then I knew the problem was with the brand I originally ordered. If it didn't, well, then I'd deal with it and enjoy my 2 months supply.

It was just BCAAs and I didn't care about the inflated price because I didn't feel like waiting for my shipment to arrive if I bought it online.

That's nothing bro 2 weeks ago yes I'm ashamed to say but I went to a GNC store I needed my CLA's so don't break my balls,and the dude asks me about what I think about some of the new hardcore products out there ya know the PH'S and halodrol andsuperdrol so I said I think there good and he says yeah I think there better then steroids cause juice doesn't work for teenagers cause there test levels are at there peak,so my reply was how long have you worked here and he said this is my first day and I said oh yeah well do yourself a favor and don't ever repeat what you just said to me to anyone else because it was probably the most ignorant statement I've ever heard.Needless to say he was feelin pretty stupid at this point.How do these people get these jobs what a fukin dikhead

man! i havent been into a gnc in almost two years! there prices are way to high. online prices are way cheaper even with the shipping.....and i dont have to hear stupid suggestion from someone that makes $7 per hour

I work at a franchised GNC, not a coporate mall store. We are just a supp store selling our own shit using GNC's name. I make $10 under the counter and supps at cost price

i usually just down my BCAAs and glutamine peptides dry, then follow them with a glass of water...It's kinda funky, but it works.

Hmm, you know what? I like that idea. I have to take 2 scopps but I think the scoops are like a teaspoon each. And I've read that all BCAAs mix that way so it's not just the brand I bought. I'll try that. Thanks!

I worked at gnc for a while and the business is being run into the ground from the top down. I actually worked in the head quarters in the Ariba building when I met the previous CEO, Mike Meyers, and let me say that he was an idiot. He was just worried about using company funds to take his kids to the super bowl and shit like that. He new nothing about the products and when he came to the store that I primarily worked at, he loved the suck ups who didn't know shit. The people he highered at head quarters were stupid, which is why the people who are genrally highered by the stores are stupid. It is a trickle down effect and nobody respects their own products in that company. They mistreat guys like me, and love the pm (pormotional money) stealing suck ups that don't know shit. And they are more worried about gnc gold cards than anything else.

I know the GNC near me pays the employee's commission on what they sell, so they will pressue you into buying something. They make more selling the GNC brand stuff, then competitors stuff.
