    Possibly Switching My Major

I'm currently thinking about switching my major to Management Information Systems, or MIS. Currently, I'm a Finance Major, but haven't started my true Finance classes as of yet, so now would be the time to swap out. I've always liked working on computers and such, and it seems that MIS is going to be a need in the future. I just know I want to continue in the business field, so I'm trying to figure out which way to go here. Any thoughts?

with a computer science degree minor, and a Business degree is one of the most sought after..

If no degree... the CISSP is the most sought after certification with cisco cert...

I've heard getting an MIS degree will be more beneficial to me down the line. I'm just trying to get some input. Even with a Finance degree, I probably won't be doing Finance stuff my whole life. I like numbers, but I love computers as well...i'm just trying to figure out what to do. I'm confused as shit.

I had a minor in Computer science, and there are alot of people with that as a major... but it is one of the most sought out degrees by empoloyers.

I changed my minor to something else, because my university was teaching alot of old technology. IE: Networking for Windows 98, and Mac OS 9.

I felt like it was a waste of my time because I would NEVER use the information ever again.

I would suggest Finance over MIS, actually I would highly suggest it. The prospects of jobs in Finance and elevated over MIS.

If you don't mind going on to get at least a master's degree in finance, there are tons of teaching positions at the college level out there.
