    Taken back by book: Postsecret

I find myself to be such a people-watcher. I noticed people on the street and i am always thinking in my head "I wonder what it would be like to live your life?" "Do you have kids? "What do you do for fun?" "What dirty secrets do you tell no one?" .......

The last questions to me is an ........ interesting one. We all have secrets, some only best friends know, some no one knows. Does telling your deep darkest secrets make it easier to cope ? or harder ?

Well anyway i was walking through the libary looking for a book (not sure if you saw my bookworm thread) and i saw this book PostSecrets. The cover was like a post card and it looked "different" so i picked it up. The lady in the store started talking to me about it saying she loved it and that they are coming out with a new one. After reading a few pages i purchased it.

The book is not a "book" i guess. There is no story.......well let me say there are many stories just not written in "normal" book form. Some stories are two words long, some a small paragraph. Its just a book of peoples secrets on postcards sent to this guy Frank. Well take a look a look for yourself as i will list the website.

This is what the book is about (quote from site)

You are invited to anonymously contribute your secrets to PostSecret. Each secret can be a regret, hope, funny experience, unseen kindness, fantasy, belief, fear, betrayal, erotic desire, feeling, confession, or childhood humiliation. Reveal anything - as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before.

Create your 4-by-6-inch postcards out of any mailable material. If you want to share two or more secrets, use multiple postcards. Put your complete secret and image on one side of the postcard.

    Tips:
Be brief - the fewer words used the better.
Be legible - use big, clear and bold lettering.
Be creative - let the postcard be your canvas.

This is a great book for them open minded people. Take a look at the site http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ .

    Hope you guys enjoy it.
