    History books?

    I want to spend some time reading non fiction for a while.

    I have always been fascinated with Russia for some odd reason. Does anyone know a good book that tells the story of the rise and fall of the soviet union??

    If anyone know a good book about the manhattan project that would also be cool

    a good read about russia during wwII is the FORGOTTEN SOLDIER by guy sajer.....in a nut shell.... true account of a germany foot soldier fighting for his life against the russian soldier and its winter.
