i wont go as far as saying that ALL of mainstream is awful

but most of it is a lame pointless effort to promote one kind of ideal made up by the VIP of some company so taht he can fill his pocket with more and more cash.

every song has something in it that tries and manipulates the audience and hence tries to make people insecure about themselves so that they ahve go on and buy something

in the end its all commercialism

mainstream sucks

making songs that are easy to listen to is one thing.. but songs about 'bitches, hos and money' playing on stereotypes are no good
