When you're taking an hour boat ride out to a dive site it's nice to kick back relax and listen to music. I bought my ex bf one because he swims for cardio and he can listen to music while he swims laps. You can submerge the case up to 10 feet.

I have this Alpine head unit in the car. i attach my ipod via a cable in the glove box. The ipod can then be fully controlled via the head unit. No need for loads of CDs in my car!!

I have an archos 404... so I can listen whilst I lift ye old weights and watch movies and fight tapes whilst I do cardio.... Best of both worlds and only about $40.00 more than the ipod

No Ipod for me. I have a Windows Media Center PC that connects to my home audio system via an 802.11b/g interface. I stream my MP3's directly from my WMC PC to my home theater. I have a few speakers installed in my home gym so I can rock out!

You like the sound quality on the Bose? The one I have is portable so I've been carrying it to the gym to practice my posing routine. A lot of people have asked me about it.

Mine cost $250 but the sound is awesome. It has a line input so I run the stereo out from my MacBook Pro to it.

The IM7 is less expensive than the bose and it can run on batteries. You can carry to a cook out or whatever.
