    Any sportbike enthusiests here?

    I'm new to this forum. My passion is motorcycles, or maybe it's more of an obsession I've been on two wheels most of my life, starting with dirtbikes. Riding sportbikes for about 10 years now and racing at the club level for 2. Any other riders around here?

    been around it my whole life just cant afford it right now im a broke ass college student. dad always had harleys so i grew up workin on those oil pigs. then started riding dirtbikes (never serious jus for fun) then started building custom bikes for 2 years finally bought my first crotch rocket two summers ago but sold it after 6 months cuz i didnt have the cash but it'll always be a passion. now im lookin for a stunt bike, and time to build a chopper....

    I'm more of a fan of doing stunts and wrecking them than riding....

    nice, i am getting into stunting now. I had the "pretty" GSXR and didn't want to lay that down. Sold it for top dollar and will buy something used and cage it up. I know i am going to lay it down but i guess its all part of the game.

    i has a 04 zx6, and an 04 R1, and ill take the gsxr all day for stunting...alot better balance point, and torque curve.....to each his own...

    My chopper is my first love, but I've got 2 Honda CBR's that I like to zoom around with on a daily basis.

    Actually one is a CBR and the other is a CB. I don't know if they sell CB's in the states, but it's a lot like a Nighthawk. It's a nice ride, nothing fancy. My girlfriend gave me the CBR a couple of weeks ago, so that's my new toy.

    Well, I like the chopper the best, because it's just fckin sick. But, it's loud as hell, I set off car alarms all the time, and it stands out like you wouldn't believe. So, it's hard to be incognito on that thing. The CB is perfect for just cruisin around, it's not loud, quick enough, and looks decent. The CBR is fast as hell and I love that. I pulled up next to a cop yesterday, he was riding a BMW. He was like, "you wanna race?" I wasn't sure if he was joking or what, but I took off pretty fast and then let him pass me when I got into some traffic. We were in the middle of the city and he's a cop, so I let him win that one. Saw him again today while I was on the CBR and flew past him.

    They're all cool, but the chopper is the showstopper.

    haha thats pretty funny...when i see cops i go the oppisite direction...there always lookin to bust my balls...i need the speed though..if im on a bike i have to whip it hard...i love lookin at choppers but im not ready to take it easy on one...

    Wow, lots of riders. I used to be into the whole stunting thing when it was all starting up. Got bored with it and moved on to racing. Not that I don't like to play around from time to time and throw up a wheelie here and there. Right now I have four bikes, two '03 CBR600RR's strictly for the racetrack, an 01 CBR929 for the street and a KX250 for the dirt and ice. Thinking about getting a motard for my next bike, or maybe a 250 two stroke. I'd love a nice custom chopper, but there's no way I could afford that and still have the money to race or keep my other bikes.
