I like sydney, but more importantly i like subterranean sydney. The shit you find down there is amazing. All these old RAAF bases, bomb shelters etc. And they are all connected to each other.

Late night before the station closes, get to st james station at like 1am. Make sure no one is around, The abandoned air raid shelter begins in the double track tunnel section at the north end of St James Station, and continues into the two single track tunnels beyond, these track have NEVER been used and has been there for 100 years. Keep walking and soon you will hit a few doorways and hallways, have a look around, thats the Public RAAF Air Raid bomb shelter. You are legally allowed to be there... when we are under threat of a bomb, hahahaha. But its amazing, the thing was built during the 1st world war. There are a bunch of other places around but i like that place. There are secret RAAF underground bases there, oh and lets not forget the amazing underground lake. Just remember to go with a friend and bring a few flash lights. Remember, when it rains, NO DRAIN!!!!! Or you can get flooded.

heres some pictures of the public air raid shelter under st james station, and the secret "ghost" st james platform which was never opened and doesnt even have a track, but has a fully furnished platform.

Yeh I've yet to swim there, but i want to so much. It used to be a very famous "public" swimming hole up to like the 1970's. lol.
