Do you have a good relationship with your family?

Mine are ok, as long as I keep them at 'arms length'. Spending a couple of hours with them is enough for me. I've not seen any cousins or relatives for years. (Not though I'd want to).

Love my parents and 4 sisters. We all had our rough patches over the years, but blood is thicker than water. The best was when I got married and they took my wife into the family as one of our own. Even though we live in Japan and they live in the States, we keep in contact every week. During summer and winter breaks, we usually go back for a month. I'd love to be able to move back once our hometown university gets a decent linguistics department.

I have 3 sisters. 2 of them I speak to maby once a year or so. We just dont keep in thouch. I also have a brother that I almost never meet or talk to.

My youngest sister I meet often and talk to and I lived at her place for a year. We are pretty close.

Mom is dead and I have very little contact with my dad. He calls every now and then but thats about it. Our relation is dead in my mind and I wont miss him much when hes gone.

Out of my 3 sisters I talk to two and the oldest very often...My brother is on and off but we get along better now then ever. We used to fight if we were in the same house for more than 48 hrs.

Parents are both nuts but I talk to them anyway

My sister and me have been on our own since we were 16 .. she means the world too me and i wish that i was lucky enough to have a great family - but i wasn't.

I truly do have a great appreciation for the bond between families, just lack one of my own.

my brother is 13. i keep him in line, mentality is ill he will be a ghetto superstar when hes older hes at bording school now, my sister i never speak to see twice a year i hate her, my dad is filth and dont speak to see him ever. lived with him in my mid teen years thats it. and my mums good but has alot of bad habbits.

yeh it is, but some people just cant be helped. if i was to explain why i dont like my sister. giving 100% true and acurate facts not just my side of the story it would be understandable and the same goes with alot of people who dont speak to there brothers nad sisters

I get along good with my family but we have our moments. My father is bipolar so he is very moody and sometimes when i talk to him he does not even answer me, but then there is times that he won't stop talking. My mom is very sensitive and last week we had a disagreement and the next day she was crying, i felt so bad about it. I will just try not to argue with my mom anymore and i just deal with my father and know its not intentional and that he can't help it. I used to fight with my sister when i was young but we get along great now, she had thyroid cancer and beat it and has battled Bilemia in the past. She just got engaged and is very happy and she is doing well, the guy is nice and he takes good care of her. All in all we are close but just like everyone else, we have our moments.
