Sleep
How long is the optimum amount of sleep needed in a night to grow as big as possible?
I heard that people that sleep 6-7 hrs live longer than those that sleep 7-8 hrs.
Apparently Maggie Thatcher found that 4 hrs sleep was enough when running the UK, however I doubt she was on a bulking cycle!
Should you get less sleep when you're cutting or should you get less sleep when you are bulking so that there would be more time to eat?!!?
Be interested to hear your thoughts.

Some real dedicated bodybuilders actually set their clocks to wake up every 2 hours. example, .go to sleep at 10, clock rings at 12 to eat, back to sleep, and so on.
I think 7-8 hours is best, cutting or bulking. Some people leave food next to their bed in case they do wake up.

Each person has there own set point.. For one 4 hours may be enough, while for another, they might require signifcantly more in order to achieve any growth

last time I was training hard and cycling i was getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night. not purposely that's just all my body would need or take. i'd wake up in the morning full of energy and fall asleep very easy at night. When i got away from my dedication I fell into much longer sleep cycles and don't feel as rested after 8 hours of sleep and find it hard to get out of bed.

I like 10 hours of sleep. I feel best, and heal faster. If I only get 6-8 hours, my muscles stay sore longer, and I'm very lethargic.

I am on vaca right now (haha to you all) i am getting 8-10 hrs a sleep a day. My workouts have never been better. If i did this when i was on cycle i know it would have helped. Live and learn i guess. No more late night porn

During the week i usually get no more than 6 1/2 hours of sleep. Its what im use to and on the weekends when i try to sleep in it just doesnt happen. I guess my body is just use to sleeping for that much. It kinda sucks.

To show how important sleep really is, look at all the huge inmates in prison.
They dont have shit for nutrition and supplements. Their main way of growth is rest by sleeping most of the day.
