That was one of those supps that "never worked like it used to".

I heard rumors of it testing positive for some things that it shoudln't. Like you said though, back in the day.

As to the rumor that the FDA banned the product for having drugs in it, this is absolutely and patently false. Hot Stuff was never banned by the FDA. It just works so darn well that many people actually started to wonder if there really were drugs in it. A somewhat flattering comment as to its effectiveness but still, nevertheless, quite ridiculous.

Yeah there was def something fishy with Hotstuff.

If I remember correctly there were suspicions of there being Dbol in it before they pulled it and re-formulated.

this is funny to me. i was bored so i just searched hot stuff because it IS so old school, and to see if anyone actually posted about it at one time.

i was taking this stuff. always. but back then, quality supplementing products were in infancy. and PCT no one ever talked about.

today i can down a protein shake easily. but i dont know how many of you remember early 90s protein shakes.........

it was exactly like trying to swallow pancake batter. i struggled to get it down.

i remember mike matarazzo tried to image himself as the sports badboy, sticking his tongue out like michael jordan throughout 2 hour competitions for every picture. and he would say he puts tuna, and oats and eggs and fish oil, and goat turds and all kinds of garbage in his "animal house crazy guy concoction" protein shakes and drinks them all night and day between meals, and i thought this guy is so full of shit. i cant even swallow a drink of this pancake batter without choking on it.

this is the stuff right here. the label font is the same but the package is clearly updated, the label used to be just black, yellow and orange. in 93 they only had banana flavor from what i remember. but i was sold on it, i thought it worked good. but maybe it was just my hard work and eating everything i could in a day.

chromium picolinate, .... always wanted polynicotinate
bottles of branch chain amino acids.
lots of glutamine.

God knows I took 4 times the recommended dose by accident once. I swear to God I was in the gym 3 hours straight and never tired out or lost any of my strength
