Left Behind At A Club
Introduction
ok so last night i didnt have any work so i decided to go out with my friends - to a club. These are my friends from high school - Mark and Dave
Dave has a good car and he refuses to park it downtonw in the night because is afraid that it may get stolen, broken into, blah blah blah. So the three of us took a cab - it costed 60 bucks - 20 each guy... very cheap... haha.. NOT
The setup
I had also arranged to meet some of my friend Jason and his brother Gary from university at the club. So 5 of us in all - i thought that they would mix well and eveyrone would enjoy themslves togehter.
Mark, Dave and I got there early and we were soon joined by jason and Gary. Mark and Dave left me after that and i didnt see them afterward. I though that i would met up with them when we were gonna leave - which i thought was going to be around 2... which is still early but my standards.
Things come undone
The night
So i m dancing
grinding with some girls
at around 1 30 i look at my phone - 2 messages and 2 missed phone calls
Messages were from Dave and Mark and went along hte lines of - we're leaving at 12 30. My heart stopped.
(After the paramedics were done with me... no not really )
i messaged them back - are you still in the club ? Mark replied - no.
I messaged back - thanks for looking for me, at least, friend.
Epilogue
I was a little pissed off. I had to pay 60 bucks for hte cab
i wont be hanging out with Mark and Dave again. Unfortunately Jason and Gary lived the opposite side of the city so they couldnt help me
So all in all - it was an OK night - only becuase i was left behind.

i usually like a long ass walk after a long night of drinking, i use to walk from my downtown to my house on 34th that 34 blocks, while on my home i would stoop at 7-11 get some beef jerkey and continue on my way, it usually took a few hours but didnt seem that long becuase my buddie and i would chat about bb and shit

How does the saying go? With friends like that who needs enemies?

I would have left someone also. If i was calling and texting. I'm not going to sit around all night. And its not like they drove you.
Any club i have worked at the DJ isnt going to page anyone.

I never seen a dj page someone at a club myself..

I would never leave a friend, especially at a club where a fight could break out. Thank god it didn't happen, but what if a fight broke out and Winston would have had to fight all by himself.

I would of fliped out and seriously how are u suppose to hear ur phone in a club and the phone is the last thing on my mind when im in a club.
-

i would be anouyed for the fact of the cab money and ect, but they did call and msg u. plans never are acurate u gotta play it by ear most of the time. but its still piss ya off no doubt, but no reason to be too cut at ya friends.
yeh the page in the club, if dj's did it. there would literally be prolly a page per song and it would anouy everyone and people would get to used to it and abuse the syste.
g i joe sure u dont look at ur phone, but how long u stay on the dance floor for at one time? dont check it when ur headed to bathroom or bar. i always have a glance now and then.

i didnt appreciate that
after that he proceeds to berate me about the loss of my license (i know it was my fault but i really dont appreciate it being rubbed in like that) at which point i grabbed his neck and threatened to hit him and he still didnt shut up but i held myself back - the other guy put an end to that
in the past they were first tier friends - friends i would call first if i wanted to make plans
soon after i got my car they were 3rd tier - overtaken by much more reliable friends who actually give a damn about me. They are not hte kind which would walk awya from me, as these guys did. I tried to introduce Mark and Dave to Jason and Gary but they didnt evne put an effort there, they just walked away.
no im not pissed off with these guys anymore ... it's beyond that
