firstly, i listened in on some arguments on ign.com

xbox guys made a pretty good case on why ps3 is NOT more expensive than 360

- with ps3, you already get online play, with 360 you do not. thats about a 100 dollars
-their was other stuff but i cant remember, i just remember that in the end, after all is said and done, ps3 is really not much more expensive

so dont let the price fool you, just because its costs more does not mean its superior with the exception of games.



gears of war for 360 is freaking SICK. ****ING SICK. ign gave it a freaking 10 for graphics. the ps3 first person shooter got like 9.4 for graphics. that one cant remember what tis called, but shooter with alian type people

and youi know with halo 3 coming out, its going to set the freaking standards

my prediction is that metal gear solid will be 100 percent equivalent to gears of war, but halo 3 will knock everyones socks off.....thats just my guess.

with that ps3 shooter put out, it is definately safe to say that ps3 will in fact not be significantly better than 360, much like sony likes to overhype themselves. i know in my head who i believe will win the console war, but i dont wanna sound like a fanboy, so i say nothing more

and actually, there would be no point in converting dvd to blu-ray, you would not gain anything, its like taking vhs and recording to dvd, the quality does not get better. a blu-ray holds 50gb, a dvd 4.7

the cheapest player is like $750, hell wal-marts is $900. I think its a steal, but this can go back and forth all night.

You left out a feature. You get a blue ray HD DVD player for $499 and $599. Stand alone blue ray players cost $1,000.

The Xbox 360 alone costs $399 and the Xbox 360 HD DVD Player
is an additional $200. That comes to $599.

They're the same price when you match features.

I definitely have to disagree with this. You can't judge a system from a launch game. 360 has been out a year and just now has it first blockbuster game in Gears of War. It takes time for game developers to master the in's and out's of a system. Give it time. Both systems will no doubt be great, but 2-3 years from now PS3 will be head shoulders above the 360 IMO.
