Me and my gf made one. We just used a tripod and moved the thing around. If your going to do it deffinitly dont let her freind tape it. You dont need another witness to say they were there if you gf found out. I think phillips sells dvd burners. I'd get one burn the dvd then return it. So you dont have to send it anywhere. I think the key to not getting caught is to keep it simple and let the least amount of people to know.

im not possitive how the burner works. but my camera to watch what i tape i have to hook it up to my dvd player.so i would think if your playing it threw the dvd player you could burn it. I would call a good electronics store im sure they would know and could tell you how.

Always assume when you create any kind of "permanent record" (a letter, video, printout, recording, etc) that someone else will see it.

ps as far as the dvd aspect, last I looked (it's been at least 6 months or so...things may have changed since) dvd burners were a couple grand, blanks were 10-15 bucks, and you had to have special software, which is at least a grand.

find someone with a new imac G4. use a digital camcorder and you can make and burn you're own DVD's. i have done some old school low budget shit, but nothing as intense as this idea. good luck

Fuck, I gotta say that it's one thing to make a tape with a gf but to distribute it is another all together.
