this stuff is pretty easy (college algebra), but these 2 problems r being idiots, I think there might be a typo somewhere on the worksheet itself, but who knows. Anywho, here are the 2 problems I need help with, and they are mutiple choice.
1) Write the expression as one logarithm.
logx^1/3 + logx^6 - logx^4
ANSWERS:
A) 5 log x
B) 5/3 log x
C) 13 log x
D) 7/3 log x
2) Solve the logarithmic equation symbolically.
logx^8 = 7 + 2 log x
ANSWERS:
A) x = 10^9/8
B) x = (10^7)/6
C) x = 10^7/6
D) x = 810^9
* All the log's are base 10, which should be implied, but just letting you all know*
