Which Mirror Is Telling The Truth!!!???

So every mirror I walk by seems to cast me in a different view. One I'll look small in, one I'll look good in, which ones do I believe? Why can't they all be made the same! The one I look like a greek sculpture in (serious) is my living room sliding glass door. When it's night, everything is dark, I pull back the shades just enough to show my entire body, I turn on the lamp next to it and BAM! It's beautiful, but is it really me? I know it has to do a lot with the shading and stuff of the light but do I look like that? And even in pictures, like the ones I posted on here, I look small in. Why? I know I'm bigger then that, do pictures shave off ten pounds or something... I need the truth!!!!

i believe some mirrors do have a slight curve in them to make the viewer appear smaller. this are generally in clothes shops, as they are designed to make the person feel good about the item they are trying on. these mirrors also have well specified lighting to help with the same reason.

THe funny thing that I find is that when I look into gym mirrors I always seem bigger, but when I look at my partner or other people at the gym through the same mirror they dont look any bigger...??? Anyone else notice this? So I always think I guess thats how other people actually see me, cuz I think we always perceive ourselves as smaller than we are.

Ok side note here guys, Im in the library...hot chicka just came and stood right beside me...its early in the morning so its pretty empty here...she had like 15 comps to choose from and came to the one right beside me, damn she might even be reading this message. Ok...she is. This is awkward.

i agree its a mystery, i think the truth may lay somewhere in between ther good and bad mirrors. cause curved mirrors can definitely alter the way u look, but i believe the mirrors in the gym are curved very little if at all. and ive told ppl b4 (while posing) tht "i wished i always looked this way" (in front of a good mirror) and they say, u do look like tht. At which point i call them a liar.
another thing ive found tho, is that the futher i am away from the mirror, the more defined i look.

bino, just do ur usual.........boop boop.....bellybutton. awkwardness gone.

i noticed i look bigger in the mirror at the gym also. i tend to believe it is showing me a true image because the mirrors at the gym are wall mirrors. in order for them to be curved the wall would also have to be, and i doubt all the walls in the gym are curved.

but seriously quality of glass, if it has a concave or convex shape or is perfectly flat, the colour of glass used etc.. all affect how you will see yourself in it!

A mirror is a reverse image. It is showing you what you would look like if you didn't workout!! lol

a picture taken in good lighting (not overhead) is the best way to tell what you actually look like
