admin password
Anyone know what the administrator password is for when you go to dos and type "net user administrator /random" it obviously not the admin password so whats it for??

When you use the NET USER command it uses the set of credentials logged into the PC or set of credentials you used to open the command shell. (if you do a "run as..."
If you can say what you are trying to accomplish, I am sure I could help more.

Its ok I found out what it was for, it changes your admin password to a random one. Strange how you dont need to be loged in as the administrator to do this though.
