My biggest complaint about rap music in general is that all they do is talk about money, material possessions and how cool they "think" they are. On top of that are the very stupid phrases such as, "you know what I'm sayin'" and "holla at ya boy". I understand that it's a culture thing and what not, but their music really confirms how uneducated they all really are.

I hate to say it, but i agree. My generation sucks with music man, thats why i wish i was born in the 70's or 80's some good ass rock came out then man, and i love that shit. Like the songs i hear that are considered oldies, there like life changing, honestly, how many people just feel good after hearing hotel california, or that slow guitar begin for tears in heaven, i mean shit like that changes ur day to day...ive never heard "back that ass up" and went..."damn i feel good now"

I love the music from the 80's and older rock. Elvis, the Beatles, The Who, ect.

I don't know why people buy rap records. Personally I'd much rather listen to country, disco, or anything besides rap. But that's me. Others can have their taste in music.

I listen to CDs instead of the radio. That way there is 0 commercials, and I hear the songs I want to. Sat radio is looking kinda nice though. Although the quality isn't there, there are alot of great channels. I've had XM before on my comp and liked it. I'll have to try Sirus, and see if I want one for my car.
