I tricked my dad
I'm trying to get my dad to eat healthier so I went over to the parents house and made them dinner tonight. What my dad thought was mashed potatoes was actually mashed cauliflower! ...and I quote my dad; "These are some of the best mashed potatoes I've had in a long time". After dinner I let him in on what it was and he was pretty impressed!

If you want to give it a try, here is what I did:
Boil cauliflower until you can easily stick a fork through it. Drain good and place in a food processor and process until smooth (add skim milk for a smoother look/feel). Take the cauliflower out and place in large bowl. Add garlic, a small amount of fat free cheese, green onion (chopped), salt, pepper and mix smoothly by hand. Top with paprika and serve.

I couldnt get my mom to stay on a diet for more then 5 minutes. I really worry about her. My dad, dont even get me started on him and how unhealthy he is.

My dad tricked ME when I was very young. My dad was an executive for Nabisco Foods and they manufacture Milk Bones for dogs. He attempted to convince to me that Milk Bones were extremely old, stale graham crackers. He then asked me to try one and I said "no" of course. He then said that he has tried one so that, of course, triggered me into trying one. Lest just say that they were NOT and did not taste like old stale graham crackers!

Nicely done, sometimes you just have to trick people they are so convinced its going to be bad they dont give it a chance. Now that he knows its good he will hopefully want to eat more.
