I go in cycles. I sometimes do them and sometimes just do weighted dips.

I love decline... for me its THE lower chest excersise. I get a good seperation line on the lower portion that I just cant get with weighted dips.

i love decline bench, ever since i started them again 2 weeks ago, my chest gets such a better pump and feels so much tighter. plus, its my strongest chest exercise so that helps the ego!

Correct me if i am wrong guys but straight up and down with elbows in will hit your tri's more. I go with a wider hand position and keep elbows leaning forward out and dip very low to where i can feel my chest being pulled.

Leaning your body foward will hit lower chest even with a close grip dip position.

Absolutely... there is no way you could do a tricep excersise with your bodyweight let alone add weights

    ????
    What do you mean?

Weighted dips can be done both ways. Straight or leaning. Straight just isolates the tris more.

that combined with some static close-grip bench training and weighted dips

Geez... All I meant was the majority of work in dips is done by the chest no matter what the grip... who can lift thier body weight on tricep extensions or pulldowns

How is this for some shit. I can close grip more than I flat bench. Obviously my triceps are stronger than my chest.

Look at my delts and triceps. They have always had good size and take away from my chest workouts. Victor has me doing chest in odd positions now to take my triceps and delts out of the equation. I'm getting much better results. Size and strength.
