I have played guitar for 92' and almost went to the Atlanta Institue of Music (AIM) but changed my mind at the last minute. All of Metallica's music is solid from a musical sense...St. Anger was absolutely horribly produced..ugh!

Rick Rubin is at the helm of their next one and it should sound good...

Metallica has always been a Live band...they sound 100x better live and i swear to god they are the loudest band i have ever heard in my life and i have seen alot of bands live (IE: Ozzy, Pantera, Sepultura, Soulfly, Sevendust, Type O Negative to name a few)
