What a night!

So about 2 days ago, I started having slight cramps in my side. Then today it got progressively worse, I went tonight to take my math final, and made it half way through before the pain in my side became unbearable. So I drive to the ER, doing about 80. I get there and the pain is terrible, it's all I can do to stand up. I have thoughts of renal failure, and kidney disease running through my head. But after a few tests I was relieved to hear it was a stone. I was scared for a while, I thought it might have been from the Halodrol, and I was planning a cycle soon, that would have crushed all my dreams if it was something worse. But now I'm pounding water hopping to pass this stupid thing. Anyone ever have a kidney stone?

fortunitly i cant say i have, thank god, but i had a girl in one of my classes that had em, and she said they hurt like a bitch...

Yeah it hurt pretty damn bad, the worst was driving with it, I was afraid I was gonna pass out. Plus the rain and fog didn't help. As I was in the ER, there were like 5 auto trauma accidents that came in, because of the weather. I dont think anybody drove as reckless as me tonight.

This is my first time with them, they were half way out the last I talked to the doc. I can take the pain, just want it to be done with already. I was pissed I had to leave class early, I wanted to spend some more time with this hottie in my class before next semester, we don't have usually have that much time to talk. But this hurt too much, I'm just glad it's nothing serious.

Alright...you might think I'm crazy but this works for some. My dad has done this and it worked great.

You get a six-pack of Classic Coca-Cola and 1 lb. of fresh asparagus. Drink one can of Coke every 20 min. After downing all the Cokes, eat the asparagus either steamed or boiled. Drink the liquid from it as well. Try not to go the bathroom for as long as tolerated. And after this try to be drinking water consistently for at least 24 hours.

I don't know if you have the time or energy to do this, but it works I guess. Hope everything works out for you.

Well it's kinda late now, all the asparagus stores are closed. If I don't pass it tommorrow, I will give that a try.

There is nothing you can do unfortuneatley!!!

The best advice is drink PLENTY of water a gallon plus per day and either cranberry juice or better yet cranberry extract and mega dose the crap out of it and itll pass.

The most pain will be when it is in the tube from your kidney to your bladder as there is absolutley NO give whatsoever.

Now you know you should AVOID ALL ORAL STEORIDS FROM NOW ON RIGHT!!!

Not really all that smart a thing to do if you get kidney stones as an incredible amount of filtering is done through your kidneys ESPECIALLY on orals!!!

I've had 1.. I like how you say you can tolerate pain, now. lol... My gf was there, and I've always held a macho face in front of her (3+yrs) and she watched as they came out and tears fell from my eye.

They hurt like no other. Oh, and I've heard the coke thing works sometimes, the acid breaks 'em up. But since you're getting ready to pass them it's prob to late.

Drink cranberry juice, coca cola, and water. It'll still hurt, but maybe not as much. I heard it's comparable to child birth.

the doc told my ex g/f to drink beer to help break down & pass the stone...I dont know what the logic is but at least she was drunk every nite for about a week
