Question K a quick stupid question about Western Union

    I've never used it before.
This guy I order international teas from lost his vendors but hes the best supplier on the net.
I've been reading Western Unions website and it appears they charge you a fee but Ive been reading for like a 1/2 hour and they dont say anything specific about how much is costs. All they mention is a possible "additional" fee for credit cards, which implies theres an initial fee (i was hoping it was free lol).

So my waste of a question is, if I wanted to send say $94 is there a fee? Anybody have any idea how much?
Cant be worse than like 5 bucks right?

    Thanks!!

    It taste like bitter soap.
Actually the worst tasting tea anyone can have.
But I dont drink it for the taste lol..

Some of those fees are absurd. I just contacted the seller to ask why he doesnt take paypal. I still dont really understand why the f**k people use western union, especially when theres free ways to pay for shit. Seriously, whats the point of paying so you can pay somebody? Stupidest crap in the world imo.

People supposively say its anonymous but your still using a credit card to fund it so it never made sense to me how they just cant trace it.

It so they don't have to pay the charge fee or just don't want to be bothered. Paypal has the same fee as a credit card, I believe.

Western Union is by far anonymous. Any transaction can be traced back to you.

Ahh I got it. So sellers who use Western Union are cheap bastards (because the buyer pays the fee) while the sellers who use paypal are willing to dish out a few bucks. Which brings out another topic, why paypals fee are literally just a few dollars a month but WU is like 20-30 bucks each payment. Still ridiculous if you ask me.

If we start an Eastern Union we can charge 5 bucks, put WU outta business and take over the world.

Why would you need an id to pay with cash?

Also paypal can do chargebacks if the customer doesnt get his product or its damaged... another reason could be the guy is avoiding tax because paypal will rollover on you if asked by the govt, infact in the UK they are obliged to inform the Inland Revenue if more than a certain amount goes through your account I think its about 4000

    4. Will I be charged a cash advance fee when using this service?

If you use your credit card, you may be charged an additional cash advance fee by your card issuer for this service. You may be able to avoid these fees if you use your debit card. Contact your card issuer for details.
