    My home computer has broke

    My home computer has broke and I mean broke.

    at first It was just constantly restarting its self… so I unplugged it all to see if that would help,

    now it wont even turn on at all….looks like I may have to get another, been about 2 weeks now no power any idea’s????

    Try plugging it directly into the wall outlet and see if you can get power..once you have power we will go from there.

    could actualy be a range of things. Does the powere light on your base unit light up at all ? if not it could be a new power pack that you need. They aint that expensive. Try finding a mate with a computer and loan his for a bit and see if that works. If it works then you know its the power pack. If not it could be a more serious problem.

    IMO if it is a problem with something lke the motherboard your probably better off getting a new machine unless you can fix it urself.

    apple ... ewww ...if you are used to PC's it's hard to retrain yourself to the gheyness of apple. But those who use it seem to like it.

    sounds like power supply but it could next thing I would look at is bad memory...

    Still no power iv changed the power pack still nothing I was advised It could be the fuse or motherboard I no nothing about ether of these.
