cheap car insurance for a canadian

    Hey guys,

I live in Toronto and just wanted to know if anyone knows of any cheap insurance companies that would cover me for ~$150-$200 a month (btw i want min. coverage)

Unfortunatly, I would be the first and only driver in my family and as such would not be covered under a parents plan.

I have been quoted by various canadian insurance companies for $400 (kanetix)a month or more. I cant afford that considering I go to school full time and work part time (10 hrs a week). Thats 80% of my income, which would be impossible for me to pay (considering I also have to make the car, gas, maintenance payments which would be a extra $300 a month)

If anyone out there works for a insurance comp. your info would be greatly valued.

    BTW my Background info is:
    22 years old
    single
    new and only driver (M2)

    thanks

you're not going to find anything for that price...sorry. the things that are messing you up are 1. you have no prior insurance and 2. your age

thanks for the input guys...btw im studying sports medicine...and to answer the second comment, just because I have no prior insurance their quoting me for that much $$$ doesnt make much sense, since all my buddies started with no prior insurance and yet they dont pay anywhere close to that amount.
