I never been there before and if anyone is from over there or knows about any clubs or bars to go to let me know. Whats the deal wit that place and how is the weather in aug ?
Its a well-known strip bar. The weather is supposedly pretty decent in August. There's lots going on in August too (Molson Indy, Vans Warped Tour, Radiohead, Oasis, World Film Festival...).
Im going down aug 18-21 mon - wed. Is there anything goin on that week ?

Yea only 3 days and were taking a train down there from New York.
K, heres the scoop cause i was there for grand prix the last couple years including this year. Go to a club called the Vatican on friday, it is rammed so get there early. The women are very friendly if you know what i mean :D There is also the bar/club called Thrudays which is always jammed with people. Just up the street (Cresent street) there is club extreme. I went two years ago and it was okay (i couldn't drink cause i was on so i probably would have been a lot better) There is also club 737 or 747 i hated it, but i wont go into detail. Wrong crowd for mee. There is also the dome which is almost like a rave. Shit bro, there is places everywhere, just ask the locals whats hot and not on that specific night.
The thing is im going from a sunday to a wednesday so im missing out on thurs,fri,and sat cause no one can go on the weekend. So im hoping there is still stuff to do during the week.
Allright bro, get to Ste-Catherine street and walk it from end to end, it's club after club, strip joint after strip joint.
Sir Winston Churchill is a very good club-bar to go.
If you want sight seing, go to the old port, there's always something to do and there are plenty of street acts.
You could always go to L'ile Jean Drapeau (formerly known as St-Helen's Island) and drop by "La Ronde", it was recently bought by Six Flags and it has a new roller coster but I have not been on it yet... still, the island is a very nice and quite place.
You can also check out the Expo 67 site at the island too.
If you have time, go to the Casino, I hear is very nice too.
And but not least, the Olympic stadium.
