My bf has a huge collection. He collects Transformers Alternators. They transform into new model cars and the parts (doors, wheels, hood, ect.) work.

My bf is into cars and into Transformers. The ones he buys are all late model cars. 2006 and 2007 models that transform into the robots.

WONT be as good as the awesome cartoon film Transformers: THE MOVIE released way back in the 80's, that had Unicron in at and where Megatron was turned into Galavatron. Ahhh, i love nostalgia..

Megatron is not a gun due to parental groups and toy marketing. He is an alien jet.

This fecking sucks arse! They fecking ruined it! OP looks like some thing from that CMT show that's like Fix my rig or some thing like over haulin'.
The transformers weren't supposed to look conspicious, they were supposed to look inconspicous. This movie is going to suck balls! It would've been awesome if they had just left it the way it was in the comic books.
The cartoons that came out back when 'toons were hand drawn were almost exactly what they were like in the comic books.
I subscribed to them until Marvel axed them due to low volume subscribers. Then I started with Ghost Rider at about issue #3 with Dan Ketch.

I'm guessing this movie is going to be funded by Dodge. As I recall, the decepticons never had automotive robots, only the autobots, hence the name for thier clan.
The 'cons were a tape player, three jets, two pistols and some other ones that escape me.
Bumble Bee was a Volkswagen beetle, OP was a Freighliner cab over model, not the conventional model you see in these pics. Jazz was a police car, don't remember what it was supposed to be, maybe a Ford Crown Vic. Crup was a Jeep truck. Wheel Jack was a pick up, maybe a Ford F-150.
That's all I remember. I remember the movie that came out in the '80's all animé style

It's not sponered by any car companies, but if it were, it would be GM.

BumbleBee is supposed to be the main character, who starts off as a 70s camaro, and the gets rebuilt as the new camaro (due out in 08.)

Aww man! This is gonna be lame!
I'm going to get the OAV DVD set for my godsons and have them watch it and the original 'toon movie before they go see this new ruinous movie.
'70's Camaro, indeed. They came here millions of years ago, crashed into a mountain, laid dormant for millions of years, woke up in the 80's when the ships computer repaired it's self, and then got them going. It sent out a satellite and took scanned the locals for suitable disguises for the 'bots. It's a frigging movie. Any thing can happen in the movies, why is the original story line dumped in favor of the crap they are spuing out now? Product placement. It's all about the all mighty dollar.

Volkswagen would not give them the rights for Bumble Bee to be a Bettle. Thats why he's a Camero.
