    Can ANYONE speak fluent Italian?

    Well, can anyone? If they can they would help me out HUGELY with something I need to translate.

    go to http://www.google.com.au/language_tools?hl=en
    choose italian to english and type or copy what u neeed and it should give a decent translation

    I could try to help you out, but depending on where in Italy she is from, she might not understand my dialect (Neopolitan)...I'm far from fluent, but if she's Neopolitan, I can probably help a bit....

    yea i grew up in a household where sicilian was spoken. when i got older i learned standard italian but it still isnt as good as me knowing sicilian, and sicilian is like a different language compared to standard italian

    She was born in the UK but both her parents are from Sicily. I wondered if dialects vary.

    yea they vary drastically. someone who speaks sicilian wouldnt be able to communicate with someone whos from northern italy unless they both speak standard italian
