Rocky Balboa
just saw it tonight and I was very impressed. It kind of took you back more to the original Rocky where they focused alot on his lifestyle and character more than just punch for punch, you felt as if you were getting to know the character more and his emotions. I also thought that it was very, very motivating to see Stallone in such good shape for his age, I bet the part where he trained he was really squatting 500 lbs, and really cleaning 315lbs, I dont think Stallone is the type of wuss to use props for that sort of thing, I may be wrong. The end fight was the best, especially when it goes back and forth between color and black and white as his mind drifts back to his prime. I loved it, definitely a great sequel to the Rocky movies, much better than Rocky 5

I think people are expecting more than they should, even though they received more than they deserved.
By that I mean, conclusive installments in anything with more than one sequel (i.e. trilogies or longer) have to necessarily provide definitive story closure. Unfortunately, such necessity is often misperceived as creative negligence.
