To all those that have been to the Arnold Classic
I plan on going this year for the first time, I had a few questions I was wondering if someone one could help. I was thinking about buying the VIP tickets but it seems like alot of money, I mainly just want to watch the men's finals on saturday and hit up the expo every day. What are the must see events?
Also I need a good hotel to stay at, I want something kinda nice but not real expensive. Would it be a better idea to get a hotel just outside of the city and just drive a little more to save money? What is my best choice?
Also do they give you bags at the expo or do you have to bring your own? How many free-be's can you take at once is there a limit? Can I go to the expo all 3 days and keep going back to the same vendors?
Any other tips and advice is appreciated!

I was also thinking of bringing my girl, would that be a bad idea...I mean is there alot of sluts running around, is it easy to hook up at the arnold or after parties?

I'm going to be there for the first time too, it would be great if some guys that have already been could give us some tips. Where do the bodybuiders hang out after the show? I'm taking my girl to get her inspired to compete, so chuck I would recommend bringing gauranteed booty with you. the odds of pulling a hot chick when the ratio is ten giant mofo's to every girl is slim. A great place to eat.
I spent three days in Columbus, Ohio, for a ride and drive with BMW. The Ohio State University is Columbus, OH - a very big College town. The downtown area was clean and active with business. I have to say I was impressed for a midwest "mini-city".
For Dining:
If you are of German decent (or not) you will appreciate Schmidt's Haus. You instantly smell your Mutti's or Oma's cooking when you walk through the door. I also suggest this location if you are going with a group of people because they have an incredible buffet as an option and fun way to try everything on the menu. All fresh, all homemade. I could not complete my referral to note they have Warsteiner on tap those of you "off" and in "Vacation" mode (you have to live a little). I personally have about five drinks a year but I could not pass a Stein of that. The uniforms and theme is a bit over-the-top and cheesy but that is the U.S. these days. GREAT FOOD. GET BIG AND HAVE FUN.
The location is south of the Expo Center in a residential area infamously known around town as "German Village".
