itunes burning too slow?

Hey my comp handles up to 24x speed. I just burned a cd with itunes and it took about 15 minutes. Isnt that pretty long?

Did you choose to burn at 24x, or a different speed?

Was it 15 mins for the whole time, or just the burning part?

i chose "maximum speed possible", and yes, 15+ minutes to burn the 80 min. CD

What kind of blank CD did you use? Maybe the burn speed of the CD was rated slower so it burned at a slower speed.

Carlos thats something i need to look into. My gf gave me the cds so i dont even know.
