    do u need a PC if u have a PS3?

i dont have a PS 3 but i was thinking of getting one instead of a PC

is there any real need to have both?
the PS 3 does virtually everything a home computer can do (unless i am mistaken?)

u can browse the net - download films, music, p0rn etc onto its hardrive
and plug a keyboard in its USB socket

so why did i just spend £330 on a laptop?

    i'm almost annoyed

think i should sell it and buy a PS3~? maybe

but your not going to get microsoft office / works etc on a ps3. its microsofts rival so thats not gonna happen.
what are you really looking for. a computer or a games console.
the possibilities of a laptop far outway a ps3.

You can install and run Yellow Dog Linux on a PS3.

It's a computer operating system. If you do not know how to use it, I would not buy a PS3 to run it on. Just stick with a regular computer.

Nope. Sounds like what I have in my bedroom except I don't have an XBox or PS3 yet.

You don't even need to buy that Microsoft Office stuff anymore. Just go to openoffice.org and download the FREE open source office software from there. Openoffice is incredible. You can save documents in Office format and even in Acrobat format.

I don't even use Microsoft Office anymore. Why pay $$$ when you can get something just as good for free?

Computer still have more features and ability than a PS3.

You can't easily take a PS3 into a coffee shop and browse the net.

If you are only looking at doing very basic operations like browsing online, then should be fine with a PS3.
