i read in one of my car mags--forgot which one either road & track or autoweek that it might be out the end of this year as an 08

It looks like a newer version of the ugly ass mustang.

The LS2 is supposed to be the base model V8 in the new Camaro. There is supposed to be a new optional motor, coming in late 09, which will be a 3 valves per cyl, ohv small block.

Here is some drawings and patent numbers of the new upcoming 3 valve motor.

Check this out. The next Corvette motor. 3 valve, dual cam OHV motor. It actaully looks really sick! GM is reported as testing this motor with a Roots blower for the next Blue Devil Corvette.
