Spring Break Ideas?

I had plans to go on a cruise for spring break, but it fell through because I needed to get a passport in order to leave the country (aside from northern mexico).

Does anybody have any ideas on a fun, but descently priced spring break? What have you done in the past?

I am looking to spend $1000 total and would be flying or driving out of PHX, AZ.

I'm spending 2 weeks in China, and a 2 weeks in the US. We get much better Spring breaks than you guys in the US (a month, my girlfriend at UVM gets like a week

You can get an expedited passport. I got mine in a little over a week.

Cost, in addition to regular application fees, is $60 per application plus overnight delivery costs.
Two-way overnight delivery is strongly suggested.
If you mail in - clearly mark Expedited on the envelope.
Anyone may request expedited service for any type of application (e.g., first-time applications, renewals, amendments of existing passports, etc.)

After you apply - You will receive your passport: Ordinarily, if you paid additionally for expedited service and two-way overnight delivery within about 2 weeks.

I really think the all-inclusive resorts in Mexico are the best for the money. I went to Playa del Carmen for a cousin's wedding in the summer, and for my boyfriend and I (plus baby but she didn't count), it was like 3200 with tickets and all hotel, food and drinks. We stayed at a 5 star hotel so I'm sure you could get even cheaper than that.

yea i got my passport for $97 + $8 to get the pictures taken
man plus the $60 thats gettin expensive!!!! glad i planned ahead

on that tight a budget in phoenix i would recommend driving to lake havasu, staying in the car and sniffing rubber cement. you may want to resue condoms.

co-sign. Wifey and I just got back from 7 days at the Adventuras Spa Palace (5 star). It was all-inclusive (6 restaurants on premises plus snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding, and all watercrafts were included). Lots of fun!!!

Detroit is pretty nice this time of year. Cheap flights, hotel rooms and entertainment. jk

I'm going to Hilton Head Island, SC. I think it's my 13th time going there... It's not much of a place for partying besides with retired people. I only go for the golf.

That is my goal, but location is key. Typically, any girls that are staying in town for spring break are bitter and not down to "open up".

Martinez river. It's close to yuma, az. I went last year. I'm not gonna even front. This place is off the chain...trust me. And dirt cheap.

Panama city of Panama the country?
Anyway, South beach Miami for the WMC sounds good though, just for the weekend when all the big guys are playing. Has anyone ever been? Costs? Club tickets? ect? arent there packages as well?

lol... It's actualy a big trailer park on the river! It's not a redneck spot though. It's a huge party. It's alot like Havasu just more low key. I have yet to find a better place.

I used to go down to Panama city every spring break and summer. WHen not at school I live about an hour and a half from there.

I went to the mayan riviera last year and our trip was close to that price at a 5 star as well. The a la cartes were excellent, the beach was extremely clean and the resort overall was about the nicest i've been to. I can't wait to go back down again.
