Wow, You UK guys must have some good paying jobs to pay that much for dumpy ass tiny apartments. What is with that?

the uk is expensive period. Look at the pound... PB and a few other complain how expenisve "good food is"
you can also look at the Big Max index ( by the economist)

wow, be hard to raise a family in there for sure.....but if can afford that, someone else probably raises your family for you

This is one of the reasons you'll read threads on here from us UK guys about why we r fed up with immigration...
cause all the cheaper houses / apartments have been rented out or sold to them pushing the market way out of the reach of younger first time buyers.

London prices are just crazy. Even buying a can of Coca Cola in central london is 200% more expensive than other areas!!
