YES, it always has to be about gear if you post in the STEROID QUESTIONS section. I moved it to the GENERAL QUESTIONS section.

...and to answer your question...I like anything with heavy guitars but I don't normally care whats playing. I zone out everything when I'm in the gym.

Actually, never seen anyone mention it but the best music for constructive bodybuilding is, in my opinion, the theme from Red Heat. You know that film with Arnie where he plays a Soviet cop? If I remember correctly the theme music plays in the very beginning when they are all working out in a steam bath/sauna kidna thing.

My bad-I'm an elitist when it come to metal, it's a sacred word to me. I do like those bands-especially Tool. Never did understand techno or dance tough, it justs seems like the same fucking beat over and over-to each their own.

I hear ya bro...the music you like is what I would call "hardcore", or "death metal"...so, IMO, that would make Tool and System metal bands...but then again our perceptions of metal music seem to greatly differ.

    Peace

I like Deep tribal dance music or techno. Pumps me the hell up! I used to make my own mixed CDs and take them to the gym with me. Now I just carry my iPod. Holds a 1,000 songs and fits in my pocket. Everyone who works out should have one!

I use different music for a different day so I always change it up.
Depends on what routine i'm working with each day.
Bad Religion, Linkin Park, Cannibal Corpse,Disturbed,Overkill, Megadeth, Life Of Agony ECT.
Bio-Hazard, and Pro-Pain are my favorite to get a really good workout session on..

Fear Factory, Disturbed, White Zombie, Pantera, anything hard but able to understand not like Morbid Angel and so forth.
