New bill passed allowing U.S. Postal Service to open any packages!

Hey this thread is just to let everyone who orders through the mail know that Prez. Bush passed a bill about a month ago allowing the postal service to open any and all packages, letters, etc.. that looks suspicious w/o a warrant. This means that if your local post man suspects something he now has the authority to open your mail. This goes hand in hand with the homeland security policy this is why there is a increasing amount of seizure notices. So this is the price that we must pay for freedom!

I dont know why anyone would use the USPS anyway. The USPS is a government agency. As far as I know that makes it a FEDERAL OFFENSE!! Much worse, I think, but Im no lawyer.

Yeah USPS was bound by political conserns, the thought of an goverment agency opening packages without a warrent was a big deteriant. Maybe the ACLU will step in and sue the goverment over it

The goverment isnt protecting us from terrorism they are the terrorists. How many rights have been taken away by Bin Laden or other "terrorists"? The answer... none, the goverment took them, there the only ones that have the power to do it.

But back to the topic, customs have checked my packages now, they never did before. I ordered some amps of Aflutop and the envolope was obvisouly opened and looked at and had a US Customs Stamp Release on it. And I ordered some clen tabs and armidex at the same time as the Aflutop and that package is still not here. I'm fairly confident that they just took it and kept it, I'll probably get a seizure letter soon and now my address is probably flagged which sucks since that source had such good low prices and have to be forced to use my ship WITHIN USA source which is about twice the price as the european source.

you still have the freedom to buy gear, and you will also have the right to remain silent, an attorney and a comfy jail cell with brutus washington. freedom doesnt make it legal. what hes siphoning away is the probability youll get away with it.

Whats hte U.S. population now? 280 million ish?

I'd say theres probably 2-3million gear users. Probably much less than that

No basis for that at all...just a random guess for fun

I agree 100%. Life isn't a freedom at all, therefore Bin Laden is not a terrorist and does not take away freedoms.

Im trying to put myself in the shoes of the actual mailmen.
If I was a mailman would I give 2 shits what was in the box I was delivering?
Especially if I did this shit day in and day out.
I mean do mailmen have any other incentive (besides moral) to open these packages. LIke a commision of some sort?
